A worthy revisit.

Updated: Apr 1

This year I aim to get to some locations a bit further afield.

As much as I love the New Forest and Dorset I feel it is time I really stared exploring new locations and new subjects.

On this list this year are Snowdonia, Dungeness, and Dartmoor, areas that I know can produce amazing images.

Another on this list is Burnham on Sea.

I photographed this location about 10 years ago and fell in love with the beach and the landscape around here. It is not exactly local, but well worth the drive, so on Good Friday, I headed over.

Armed with my Nikon D750, 24-85mm and my KASE Filters, and a good deal of planning I set off with my mate Charlie.

I often get people asking me, why drive 6 hours in a day to only get a few shots, well I think it is worth it.

This is the first of a few new locations coming in 2024, along with some new, and old things that I am bringing back.

I'll be shooting 35mm, maybe looking at a camera change, and bringing back 1-2-1 workshops. Have a look at the upcoming ones here

I am again, looking at producing a book which will be published in 2025. I did try last year but had so much going on it was pushed to the back of my mind.

As I write this I am filled with ideas for future blogs and ideas going forward, I am really excited by this year, and feel it could be my best yet.

Thanks for reading, and see you all soon, I promise I will write another post in a week or two.

Matt
